Westport is seeking the expertise required to shape and deliver Western Australia’s future container port at Kwinana. The EOI is now live on Tenders WA, and will bring together suppliers from a range of service providers to establish a Professional Services Panel.

Suppliers can apply across 14 disciplines to assist Westport in building our client-side capability, ensuring access to technical and advisory services during the definition and delivery stages of the program.

The services sought include design, verification, constructability advice and construction management for port and marine works, alongside environmental and sustainability advisory services – essential to achieving a world-class port and supply chain built with nature in mind.

“The Panel will enable long-term collaboration with suppliers, ensuring we have the capability to meet complex technical challenges, together with climate and environmental requirements,” said Leighton Beeck, Executive Director Commercial and Corporate, Westport Office. “This is about bringing together the best expertise to deliver a port that is efficient, resilient and sustainable for generations to come.”

The Panel will be Westport’s main procurement vehicle for professional services during an initial term (2025-2028), with options to extend to a maximum of ten years (2025- 2035). Westport will release EOIs for further disciplines, aligned with Westport Program requirements. These further tranches will be released from 2026 onwards.

The Panel will provide opportunities for both large multinational consultancies and smaller boutique specialists to become pre-qualified suppliers that can be engaged directly by Westport.
